The HADA Storyby the founder and President, Mr Neil Young HADA (Health and Development Aid Abroad – Australia Fund Inc.) was set up as a volunteer organization in 1998 with the aim of stablishing medical, educational, agricultural and sanitation programmes in countries of need. Ten years have passed and thousands of dollars have been channeled to projects that have requested our assistance in countries such as Cambodia, Iraq, China, Inner Mongolia, and Kazakhstan. Irresistible appeals for natural disaster relief have not gone unheard and welcome help was given during the Tsunami in Indonesia, Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar, and the earthquake in China. Check out the projects that receive our support by clicking here . Needy people been helped and blessed by donations that generated hope in desperate situations, but besides this, contributors have obtained tax deductibility as a bonus for their generosity, thus taking some of the pressure off them as well. We work with people “on the ground” in the various countries to ensure that funds are handled honestly and efficiently. All funds received for projects, less bank charges, are sent to these project managers and all donations for listed projects are Tax Deductible to Australian donors. Being a volunteer organization the cost of maintaining HADA is limited to 3-4% of donations received, while membership fees and specific donations pay for day-to-day running costs. Requests continue to come to us for assistance and these appeals for help spur us on to greater efforts to rescue people from destitution and despair. We look forward to partnering with you as well in this common desire to “encourage development and inspire hope.” If you wish to contact HADA please use the details below: Health and Development Aid Abroad - Australia Fund Inc.
